A unique adaptation of Tchaikovsky's classic, "Swan Lake... but with Cows"  features original choreography by Meryl Dalton, the original orchestral music by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky and new orchestra arrangements by Ryley Gillen.

"Swan Lake… but with Cows" tells the story of a young lady who has fallen victim to a magical curse condemning her to live out the rest of her life as a cow. It's when the local farmer takes notice of her that the spell might just be broken. Meanwhile the local Milkman falls in love with Mrs Creamary and uses his skills as pied piper of milk bottles to entice her into marriage and two villainous butchers set their sights on UpperDaisy, the recipient of Best Cow in Show at the Nowra Show for their abattoir.

"Swan Lake... but with Cows" premiered at the Illawarra Performing Arts Centre in August 2023.
